Technical sulphuric acid of the following types: contact sulphuric acid technical, contact sulphuric acid improved; oleum (improved and technical); regenerated sulphuric acid. Technical sulphuric acid is used in the production of fertilizers, man-made fibres, caprolactam, titanium dioxide, ethyl alcohol, aniline dyes and a number of other industries.
Sulfuric Acid
H2SO4
Chemical Manufacturing
Inorganic Intermediates, Other Solvents
Improved and industrial sulphuric acids with a mass fraction of monohydrate up to 98.8% can be supplied upon agreement with the consumer.Improved oleum intended for caprolactam production shall, at the request of consumers, be supplied with a mass fraction of free sulphuric anhydride of not less than 19%.Sulphuric acid intended for use in the medical industry shall be tested to a mass fraction of nitrate nitrogen in accordance with 7.13.
On request of consumers, the copper and selenium mass fraction in sulphuric acid shall be regulated, the norm for copper shall not exceed 0,0005%, for selenium – shall be set by agreement with the consumer.
By agreement with the consumer it is allowed to produce contact improved sulfuric acid and improved oleum with the mass fraction of nitrogen oxides not exceeding 0,0005%.Upon agreement with the consumer in the period from April, 15th till November, 1st it is allowed to produce contact refined sulphuric acid with mass fraction of iron not more than 0,007%.
It is allowed in the contact technical sulphuric acid of the 1st grade, produced at the wet catalysis plants and at the plants, which use as raw material the acidic tar of petrochemical industries, the colour pink to violet.
