Hydrostabilized petroleum pyrocondensate (C9) is used to produce light oil polymer resins used in the production of paints and varnishes, as well as directly as solvent for paints and varnishes.
Liquid pyrolysis products (LPP) are multi-tonnage by-products of hydrocarbon pyrolysis, the main process of modern petrochemistry. Pyrolysis of hydrocarbons produces the main olefins – ethylene and propylene. LPP is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons of different structure and is a valuable and inexpensive raw material for obtaining a large number of substances. Complex processing of LPP significantly improves economic efficiency and profitability of the entire ethylene production. Production method: produced at ethylene plants during pyrolysis of hydrocarbon gases as a by-product. Liquid of light yellow to brown color without mechanical impurities. Packing, transportation and storage: Oil tar is transported in own or rented railway tanks of the shipper (consignee). Petroleum resins are transported in tank trucks in accordance with the rules of dangerous goods transportation by road. Product storage temperature is from minus 50 to 40 °С. Application: used as a raw material for production of motor fuels, solvents, as well as for production of aromatic hydrocarbons.
Heavy pyrolysis resin produced at ethylene production facilities as a by-product of pyrolysis of petrol or a mixture of petrol and gas feedstock, as well as a mixture of heavy pyrolysis resin and polyalkylbenzene resin. Heavy pyrolysis resin is used in the production of industrial carbon, coke, dark petroleum resins, concrete superplasticisers and as a component of boiler fuel.
