Technical diethylamine produced by the ethylation of ammonia with ethyl alcohol and other ethylating agents. Technical diethylamine is intended for use in the organic synthesis industry, in the textile and rubber industry, in anti-corrosive formulations as well as for the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. Diethylamine is a clear, colourless liquid with a strong ammonia-like odour. Totally soluble in water.
